Hotel vs Hostel - Blog Post
The obvious difference between hotels and hostels is
the physical rooms; hotels offer a private room with an attached private bathroom, while hostels are dormitory-style rooms with fully shared accommodations.
But there are many other factors you should think about before choosing to stay in either a hotel or a hostel. Like:
“Do I mind sharing a bathroom with complete strangers?”
or
“Do I need peace and quiet during my trip?”
Maybe you don’t mind some noise, and privacy is not your priority. Well, there are other factors to consider when choosing between a hotel and a hostel.
The Ancient History of Haze - Article
Cannabis has only been legal in Canada for a few years, but when you look at the history of this multipurpose plant, its time spent as illegal is barely a footnote in its long, somewhat sordid history.
First domesticated around 12,000 BCE, cannabis was one of humans' earliest agricultural crops. Originating in Central and Southeast Asia, cannabis still grows wild along the Eurasian steppes to this day.
The ancient Chinese and Mesopotamians used hemp fiber for making clothes, ropes, paper, pottery, and more.
The ancients also consumed cannabis for medicinal and recreational purposes. They typically smoked or juiced the plant. Infusing wine with cannabis was commonplace, as was burning the dried flower as incense or baking it into food. (ancient pot brownies, mmmm)
